Cheat Code

Place mouse cursor over minsweeper field after launching the program

Press <SHIFT><SHIFT>xyzzy<SHIFT><SHIFT>
(do not hold down the shift key while pressing the keys)

A single pixel in the upper left hand corner of your screen will indicate whether or not a mine is under your cursor (black for mine, white for no mine).

It may take several tries before the pixel shows.
