In MechCommander, you have to firstly copy the ' windows.fit ' file (located in the Mechcmdr dir) and rename it to buymechcommander.2
This will enable cheats when running the version straight out of the box, if you have upgraded to version 1.8, then call the file ixtlriimceourl
Note that these cheats MAY crash your computer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here they are:

During the Logistics stage, type these in :

poundofflesh - 1,000,000 resource points
rockandrollpeople - Remove dropweight limit on current mission

During gameplay, type these in :

CRTL+ALT+w - Win mission
osium - Invincible mechs
lorrie - Repairs damaged armour/weapons, and reloads
lordbunny - Unlimited artillery strikes (large). Press and hold B + Left click to activate
mineeyeshaveseentheglory - Show all map deadeye - Maximum gunnery skills framegraph - Show framerate graph glenrocksthehouse - Ful salvage of mechs destroyed - type right at start of mission.

All these codes need only be typed ONCE per session of the game, except LORRIE and I think GLENROCKSTHEHOUSE, as they need activated when required. I don't reccomend using the invincible cheat, it can go wrong, and u can't save.........

I don't know if anyone found this out or not but I've found a cheat (or a glitch) in Mech Commander to turn an not available item (purchase) into unlimited.

If no one know's yet, than this is how.
(1) First of all, it will only work on purchasing items (does not work on mechwarriors).
(2) That item must be 'not available'.
(3) You must have the money for it(it makes it unlimited, not that you don't have to pay for it!).
(4) It's useless to try that on multiplayer since it is already unlimited. In other words, this will be useful if you are still playing campaign.
(5) Hold the 'left click' mouse button on the scroll bar.
(6) (don't let it go yet!) Right click on the item you want to make unlimited(must be not available)
(7) It will give out that 'not available' beep. But the purchase window will appear and show it as 1 unit.
(8) Don't increase or decrease the unit. Just buy 1 unit.

Once you bought it, it will become unlimited.

It will work on components, vehicles and even mechs. It will be really useful paired with the resource cheat.
